Customer Service Representative – Allstate Agency
Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and personable Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our Allstate Insurance Agency team. As a licensed CSR, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing excellent service and support with their insurance needs. You will assist with account management, policy changes, billing inquiries, claims support, and customer education. Your role is critical in building lasting client relationships and supporting the growth of our agency.
Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in person.
Assist clients with policy questions, coverage explanations, and account changes.
Process policy updates, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and payments.
Support customers with billing issues and claims reporting.
Proactively reach out to clients regarding renewals, missing information, or coverage needs.
Maintain accurate client records in the agency management system.
Identify opportunities to refer customers to licensed sales staff for additional insurance products.
Uphold compliance with Allstate and state insurance regulations.
Contribute to a positive team environment and agency success.
Qualifications
Previous customer service, call center, or office experience preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable with computers, email, and office technology.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
Insurance license (Property & Casualty).
Familiarity with CRM or agency management a plus
Job Experience
1+ year Previous customer service, call center, or office experience preferred.
