Job Description
Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for commercial construction projects. Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine project requirements. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals and budgets. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing. Develop and maintain detailed cost databases and estimation tools. Provide value engineering solutions to optimize project costs without compromising quality. Track and analyze project costs to ensure budgets are met and provide reports to stakeholders. Stay informed of market trends and industry standards to maintain competitive cost estimations. A successful Senior Estimator - Commercial Construction should have:
Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes and cost estimation techniques. Proficiency in relevant software for estimation and project management. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to collaborate with clients and suppliers. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
