Senior Director of Information Technology - Core Systems Operations / Hybrid
Location:
New York, NY, Hybrid (2 days in NYC office, 3 days remote) Employment Type:

$221,000 - $231,000 About the Role We're seeking an experienced
Senior Director of IT - Core Systems Operations
to lead system optimization and ensure the seamless delivery of technology services across all operational areas. This leadership role is ideal for a healthcare IT professional with strong technical knowledge, vendor management expertise, and the ability to drive performance improvement in complex environments. You'll partner closely with Claims Operations, Utilization Management, Network Management, and Finance to streamline systems and enhance efficiency across the organization.
What You'll Do
Lead the strategic direction, implementation, and improvement of enterprise core systems. Partner with business units and vendors to optimize benefit configuration, claims processing, and provider setup. Oversee all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. Develop long- and short-term technology objectives that align with corporate priorities and budget. Monitor vendor performance and ensure service levels are met or exceeded. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to identify opportunities for process and system enhancements. Oversee production processes, regulatory report submissions, and provider directory management. Champion continuous improvement and innovation in IT operations. What You Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare IT, or a related discipline. 10+ years of experience in systems or operations management, with a focus on healthcare IT. Minimum of 3+ years of health plan or managed care experience (required). Experience with HealthEdge and/or GuidingCaresystems
preferred. Proven success managing vendors and leading enterprise-wide technology initiatives. Strong understanding of claims, benefit configuration, and healthcare systems. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Why Join
