About the Role
ElevationHR is seeking a seasoned
Senior Product Owner
to support an enterprise digital platform initiative within a complex, regulated environment. This role is responsible for end-to-end product ownership, backlog execution, and close partnership with business stakeholders, data teams, and engineering delivery teams.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Product Owner with strong Agile experience who can operate confidently in a fast-paced, stakeholder-facing environment and drive clarity, prioritization, and delivery outcomes.
This is a
delivery-focused role , not advisory, and requires consistent engagement with cross-functional teams.
About the Project
The Product Owner will support a mission-critical data and analytics platform that enables enterprise reporting, operational insights, and digital transformation initiatives. The platform integrates backend services, cloud infrastructure, data quality controls, and analytics workflows and is foundational to long-term modernization efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Backlog Management Own, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with business objectives Translate business requirements into clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria Ensure backlog readiness to support consistent sprint execution Agile Delivery & Execution
Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery coordination Validate deliverables against acceptance criteria to ensure quality and completeness Support release planning and delivery sequencing with engineering teams Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams Provide timely communication on priorities, progress, risks, and dependencies Balance competing stakeholder needs while maintaining delivery focus What We're Looking For
Minimum of 5-7+ years as a hands-on Product Owner supporting Agile delivery teams in enterprise environments Strong hands-on experience with backlog management, user stories, and acceptance criteria Ability to work directly with business and technical stakeholders Experience operating in fast-paced programs with evolving priorities and frequent releases Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies Bachelor's degree required (Business, Technology, Engineering, or related field) Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting data platforms, analytics products, or digital transformation initiatives Background in regulated, high-availability, or enterprise-scale environments Familiarity with Agile tooling such as Jira and Confluence Experience collaborating with cloud, DevOps, or data engineering teams Important Notes
