Solutions Architect - Media and Broadcast Systems

As a key member of the File Based Solutions team, you will report to the Director and serve as a crucial link between Evertz clients, account managers, R&D engineers, project managers, and executive management. Your primary responsibility will be to architect, design, and document tailored solutions for Evertz's end-to-end enterprise systems in the broadcast and media landscape. We are looking for someone who can transform client needs into viable technical implementations using Evertz's extensive hardware, software, and professional services. Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with the account manager to clearly define and document project scopes.

Provide initial solution designs including equipment selection and systems architecture, refining these throughout the design cycle for final quotation.

Engage with clients and internal teams to conduct demonstrations and create proof of concept systems as necessary.

Work alongside internal resources, client representatives, and third-party teams to fully align on current and anticipated business and technical needs.

Lead the creation and enhancement of proposals, ensuring comprehensive and accurate documentation for submissions.

Proactively identify project risks, clarify assumptions, and collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop risk mitigation strategies.

Develop thorough design packages, gap analyses, functional specifications, and budgets.

Build new customer relationships while nurturing existing ones to expand Evertz's reach.

Serve as the technical authority throughout all project stages including design, pre-commissioning, onsite commissioning, training, and ongoing support.

Travel to client sites as necessary to ensure project success.

Qualifications: Proven experience in designing and managing the full lifecycle of enterprise-wide client-facing projects.

Track record in file-based broadcast, production, post-production, and kindred workflows across the media spectrum.

Educational background in Electronics Engineering or a related field.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

A results-driven mindset combined with self-motivation and a collaborative spirit.

Familiarity with BXF and standard traffic solutions within the industry.

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in deploying file-based workflow solutions.

Solid understanding of Broadcast IT and its associated network infrastructures.

Expertise in application integration with business systems using XML as an interchange format.

Knowledge of current digital video compression standards and file formats.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
