
The Director of Operations plays a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of warehouse operations. Director of Operations Responsibilities:
Achieve operational objectives by contributing to strategic plans and reviews, preparing action plans, and implementing productivity and quality standards Oversee planning and forecasting to meet or exceed approved operational plans Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for product handling and inventory management Analyze workflow and implement changes to enhance operational efficiencies Establish and maintain customer relationships to identify growth opportunities Manage communication across various departments to ensure coordinated efforts Maintain a culture of safety and compliance with OSHA regulations Motivate and lead a team of managers and supervisors, ensuring adherence to company policies Ensure staff have access to necessary tools and equipment for safe operations Director of Operations Requirements:
5-10+ years of operations management or director-level experience within warehousing Minimum of 5 years overseeing a team of 20-30 employees Experience in operational oversight of safety meetings and planning Able to drive a forklift or willing to learn Proven history of profit and loss management Experience in ordering and managing supply inventory Experience managing temporary staff and process improvements Strong communication skills and ability to hold teams accountable Bachelor's degree Familiarity with EOS EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) preferred OSHA 30 certification preferred or willingness to obtain Experience with hazmat compliance for shipping pool chemicals preferred Benefits:
