
Join Quill, a leader in office supplies and part of the Staples family since 1998, as a Salesforce Senior Solutions Architect. This role offers the flexibility of remote work on Fridays while requiring a minimum of 4 days in-office collaboration.
As a Salesforce Senior Solutions Architect, you will spearhead the design and implementation of innovative and scalable Salesforce solutions tailored to our B2B business needs, all while adhering to enterprise technology standards. An in-depth understanding of Sales processes, the Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud), and familiarity with AI technologies is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and partner vendors, to create cutting-edge solutions that align with our strategic business goals.
Analyze sales process challenges and propose multiple design options, weighing pros and cons, while ensuring that solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements within budget constraints.
Lead evaluations of user interfaces and interactions, assess new technology integrations, create proof of concepts (POCs), and contribute to decision-making processes regarding product and partner selections.
Identify process inefficiencies and engage with stakeholders to propose and implement effective solutions.
Own and manage the architecture roadmap for technology and business projects, ensuring balanced scoping and effort estimation.
Oversee integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
Guide the development and management of custom applications on Salesforce using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
Maintain a strong knowledge of Salesforce Einstein capabilities, Agent Force, and AI technologies.
Establish and enforce Salesforce development standards, governance, and best practices.
Conduct technical reviews, performance tuning, and risk assessments to optimize solutions.
Stay updated with Salesforce platform advancements and emerging technologies, advocating for adoption when appropriate.
Mentor and coach junior architects and developers to build a strong team.
What You Bring:
Proven experience in large-scale Salesforce implementations.
Expertise in both technical and solution architecture.
Salesforce certifications such as Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, or System Architect.
Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, REST/SOAP APIs, and integration frameworks.
Thorough understanding of data architecture, security models, and governance frameworks.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Agile delivery methodologies.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture.
Preferred Qualifications:
Fluency in .NET, MVC, C#, N-Tier development, SOA, and XML-based web services with at least 3 years of experience.
Experience with MS SQL Server, database architecture, design, and SQL development with 3+ years of experience.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.
