
Director of Operations
The Director of Operations leads all day-to-day manufacturing and operational activities, including production, supply chain, facilities, maintenance, and continuous improvement. This role is accountable for safe, efficient, and compliant operations in a manufacturing environment. The Director drives operational performance through Lean manufacturing, disciplined execution, and strong cross-functional leadership, partnering with Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Program Management to achieve delivery, cost, and quality objectives while fostering a high-performance, safety-first culture.
Key Responsibilities Lead manufacturing, production control, supply chain, maintenance, and facilities functions. Establish and manage KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement. Ensure compliance with government and environmental regulations. Drive Lean initiatives and continuous improvement across operations. Oversee complex manufacturing processes Optimize throughput, equipment utilization, labor productivity, and inventory levels. Lead procurement, supplier performance, scheduling, and logistics activities. Oversee equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and capital improvement projects. Develop, mentor, and hold accountable managers and supervisors across operations. Manage operational budgets, capital plans, cost controls, and productivity initiatives. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operations Management. 7+ years manufacturing leadership experience, including plant or operations management. Strong knowledge of AS9100 is a plus Proven success leading Lean transformations and continuous improvement initiatives. Experience with ERP/MRP systems Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. What we offer:
