We're looking for an experienced Senior Manager of Paid Digital Marketing to lead our performance marketing efforts across Germany, UK and the broader European market. As a critical part of Slack's Growth Marketing team you'll be responsible for driving customer acquisition and revenue growth through strategic paid media campaigns. This role requires a deep understanding of the German market, fluency in European digital channels, and a proven track record of scaling performance marketing programs in fast-moving, tech environments. What You'll Do Lead EMEA Paid Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive paid digital marketing strategies across Germany and key European markets (DACH, UK, France, Nordics, Southern Europe) to drive qualified new teams and revenue Drive Performance & Growth: Own acquisition targets, KPIs, and budget management, learning agenda strategies for paid channels including paid social (LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube), display, retargeting, emerging digital platforms and beyond Experiment and Optimize for Results: Continuously test, analyze, and optimize campaigns across the funnelfrom awareness to conversionusing data-driven insights to improve CAC, LTV, and ROAS Localization & Market Expertise: Partner across marketing teams, product, and agencies to ensure campaigns are culturally relevant, locally optimized, and aligned with market-specific nuances across European countries Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with web, creative, content, product marketing, marketing ops, product, and analytics teams to develop compelling campaigns that resonate with European audiences Agency & Vendor Management: Manage relationships with digital agencies, media partners, and technology vendors to maximize campaign effectiveness and efficiency Innovation & Experimentation: Stay ahead of industry trends, test new channels and tactics, and bring innovative approaches to paid acquisition in competitive European markets Team Leadership: Mentor and develop team members, foster a culture of testing and learning, and contribute to the overall growth marketing strategy What You'll Need 7+ years of experience in paid digital marketing, performance marketing, or growth marketing roles, preferably in B2B and B2C or technology companies Deep expertise in German market: Native or business-fluent German language skills and demonstrated success running paid campaigns in Germany European market knowledge: Experience managing campaigns across multiple European countries with understanding of regional differences, compliance requirements (GDPR), and cultural nuances Channel mastery: Proven expertise in paid digital channels including paid social, programmatic, and emerging digital channels Data-driven mindset: Strong analytical skills with experience using analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Tableau, Looker) and marketing attribution tools to drive decision-making Strategic thinker: Ability to develop comprehensive strategies while also being hands-on with campaign execution and optimization Product-led growth experience: Understanding of PLG motions and how paid marketing supports self-serve acquisition funnels Budget management: Experience managing significant media budgets ($5M+ annually) with demonstrated ROI improvement Leadership skills: Experience leading teams or projects, with strong collaboration and stakeholder management abilities Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
