Schneider Electric Search Strategy Leader

Schneider Electric is seeking a pioneering leader to architect and execute the next phase of our global search strategyone that is fundamentally shaped by the rise of AI-driven search and conversational discovery. This role is responsible for ensuring Schneider Electric's products, solutions, and thought leadership are discoverable and engaging across both traditional search engines and the rapidly evolving landscape of AI-powered platforms. You will define and drive a unified, future-ready search strategy that leverages the latest advances in AI, large language models (LLMs), and generative search, ensuring Schneider Electric remains at the forefront of digital discoverability. Key Responsibilities

AI-First Search Strategy: Develop and implement a global search strategy that prioritizes AI-driven search, LLM-based platforms, and conversational interfaces, while maintaining technical SEO excellence across all digital properties. Generative AI Optimization: Lead initiatives to optimize Schneider Electric's presence and authority on generative AI search platforms, including prompt engineering, structured data, and schema markup for LLM consumption. Cross-Platform Discoverability: Ensure seamless discoverability across traditional search engines, AI chatbots, voice assistants, and emerging search modalities. Innovation & Thought Leadership: Anticipate and adapt to the evolving AI search landscape, championing best practices and piloting new technologies and methodologies. Data-Driven Insights: Establish and track advanced KPIs for AI search performance, delivering actionable insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Collaboration & Influence: Partner with content, product, digital marketing, and technology teams globally to embed AI search optimization into every facet of Schneider Electric's digital ecosystem. For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $139,200 - $208,800 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Proven AI Search Leadership: 10+ years in global search strategy, with at least 3 years leading AI-driven search initiatives and demonstrable success optimizing for generative AI platforms. Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in LLMs, prompt engineering, schema markup, structured data, and the technical requirements for AI search optimization. Hands-On with AI Platforms: Direct experience deploying and optimizing content for platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, and similar. Analytics & Measurement: Advanced proficiency with web analytics and AI search performance tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and AI-specific analytics platforms). Strategic Vision: Track record of developing and executing innovative, measurable search strategies in complex, global B2B environments. Collaboration & Leadership: Exceptional project management and leadership skills, with experience driving cross-functional teams and managing complex agency/technology partnerships. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Digital Marketing, or related field; advanced degree or certification in AI, data science, or digital marketing highly desirable.
