Parts Counter Sales Representatives are responsible for front-line customer service in a variety of parts ordering functions. Responsibilities include assisting customers, taking parts orders, researching technical data for the correct part or parts, and data entry.\nFirst shift Monday-Friday, with Saturday morning hours.\nGreet all customers and answer phones in a polite and timely fashion.\nUtilize formatted phone script when answering calls.\nProcess customer and shop orders, backorders, credits, and quotes.\nLook up parts via supplied computer programs for CAT and other brands we service.\nHandle cash and credit payments and returns per procedures.\nResolve customer issues or concerns as necessary.\nAssist with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays.\nAble and willing to perform warehouse duties as assigned.\nPerform related duties as assigned.\nQualifications

Milton CAT is looking for a Rental Sales Professional in our Clifton Park or Syracuse, NY location. The Representative drives revenue within their designated market by developing business relationships and providing customer focused solutions to our customers for Power Generation, Compressed Air, and Climate Control challenges in industries including Electrical, Mechanical, Sewer/Water/Municipal, Underground and General Contractors, Pipelines, Utilities and Industrial Facilities, Mining/Quarries, Entertainment and Special Events. They are subject matter experts and consultants for internal and external customers in the application of our fleet generators, compressors, power distribution, and HVAC including AC & Chillers.\nPay Range:

This is a salaried role with a $48,000 base plus commission. Earning potential is $125,000- $165,000 for the right candidate\nResponsibilities

Daily territory management to gain new accounts and meet or exceed rental revenue goals through visits to various customer job sites/offices.\nDevelop, plan, and organize sales strategies to achieve desired results/goals.\nIdentify customer needs and collaborate with operations to deliver on those\nUnderstand market conditions and competitive environment to maximize pricing\nOptimize product and service offerings to diversify customer base and reach additional market\nProvide a full range of customized services and solution-based options to\nMake formal presentations to customer decision-makers and educate them on\nCoordinate the implementation and maintenance of new services for\nReport sales activity through use of CRM and other tools.\nMinimum Educational Requirements
