$17/hr About the Opportunity: PrideStaff is working with a well-established logistics company in the East Hanover area that has been a leader in third-party delivery services for nearly 40 years. This entry-level role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, managing details, and supporting operational workflows. The position focuses on scheduling last-mile deliveries and entering or updating incoming freight orders, including EDI orders. Key Responsibilities: Perform accurate data entry in internal systems (training provided, including Alpha system and remotely accessed customer platforms) Enter, update, and schedule customer orders in a timely manner Manage incoming phone calls Communicate professionally with customers via phone and email Handle inquiries related to merchandise delivery (receiving dates, scheduling, issues, and concerns) Manage shared inbox communications with customers and internal accounts Escalate unresolved issues to the designated Customer Service Manager for follow-up Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong computer literacy and solid typing speed (must-have) Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems Excellent communication skills, especially by phone Strong active listening skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively High attention to detail and accuracy Dependable, with a pleasant and professional attitude Bilingual candidates preferred If you are looking to grow your skills in a supportive environment with long-term potential, we encourage you to apply!
