As the Director of Finance , you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial operations of CBD Kratom. You will oversee the company's overall finances, including financial planning, cash management, budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and account reconciliation. Collaborating closely with senior leadership, you will utilize your financial expertise to enhance decision-making and drive the business forward. This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. ABOUT THE ROLE: Lead financial planning, cash management, budgeting, and forecasting efforts. Oversee all accounting activities related to income auditing, accounts payable processing, accounts receivable collection, and tax compliance. Conduct thorough analysis of finance functions to identify risks and opportunities for improvement. Create and implement strategic financial policies aligned with business needs. Guide senior leadership in understanding and utilizing financial metrics to inform business decisions. Develop and manage treasury functions and banking relationships to ensure optimal cash flow. Produce monthly reporting including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Invest in the development of the finance team members, fostering a well-developed and proficient team. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices. ABOUT YOU: You possess a strong desire to advance financial operations through detailed analysis and strategic insights. You have a proven track record (5+ years) as a Director of Finance or in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices is essential. You have an analytical mindset and the ability to navigate financial risks and opportunities effectively. Proficient in financial management software (e.g., Quickbooks) and advanced spreadsheet, presentation, and office suite application skills.
Experience with cash management, including check and ACH processing and balance sheet management. You excel in creating clear financial reports and forecasts that break down complex information for leadership..
