Who We Are Looking For Reporting to a senior member of the Access Marketing Americas team, the Sr. Manager in Access Marketing will execute strategic and tactical initiatives as the payer marketing lead for assigned Rare products. The Sr. Manager will collaborate closely with the brand marketing teams and other cross functional partners, all in support of ensuring life-changing treatments remain accessible to the patients who need them. In the near term, this role will support and contribute to the success of multiple brands in the longer term, this role offers the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of Market Access, including strategy, marketing, pricing, and market access operations while working on a highly experienced market access team for an exciting, growing company. You'll be responsible for: Supporting the development of market access strategy, tactics, and marketing materials and eventually becoming the market access lead for assigned brands Collaborating with partners from across the business, including Brand Marketing, Patient Services, Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), Finance, Sales and Data/Analytics Monitoring spend and managing assigned payer marketing budget for brands, being a good steward of company resources Growing to become a resource on all things US Market Access strategies, tactics, situation assessment, etc. for our cross functional partners Leading engagement with creative agency partner(s) for assigned brands, and facilitating Promotional Review Board (PRB) review of marketing materials Partnering with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure brand access messages and environment is pulled through to all customers You will need to have: Bachelor's degree required. 5 years progressive experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry across key functions such as marketing, market access, contracting, commercial operations, and data analytics. Good understanding of payer segments (Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare Part D & B, etc.), reimbursement, and Specialty Pharmacy data. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize data and deliver a clear overview of Market Access insights. Strong analytical (qualitative and quantitative), strategic thinking, creativity & problem-solving skills. Self-directed and confident, with ability to contribute to shared commitment and goals to achieve high standards of performance. Well organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high attention to detail. Demonstrated success with project management. A willingness to learn and grow within US Market Access. History of success in developing market access tactics for use with US payers. We would prefer for you to have: Experience within Rare Disease. Demonstrated understanding of the current US payer environment and Market Access dynamics. Experience with a Promotional Review Committee (Legal/Medical/Regulatory) and experience with VeevaVault or similar. Location: Hybrid position based in Boston, MA. Compensation: The annual base pay for this position ranges from $143,000 to $215,000. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
