This full-time hybrid Landscape Designer II role is based in Sacramento, CA, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work flexibility. The Landscape Designer II will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop creative and sustainable landscape architecture projects. Key responsibilities include preparing design concepts, conducting site analyses, developing construction documents, ensuring regulatory compliance, and effectively contributing to project meetings. The role requires excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to enhancing the aesthetic, functional, and ecological values of the projects. Qualifications
Proficiency in landscape design tools, such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design and drafting software. Experience in project management, site planning, and preparation of design presentations. Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and engaging with clients or community stakeholders. Knowledge of regulatory requirements, planting design, sustainable landscape practices, and environmental considerations. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field. Professional licensure as a Landscape Architect (or in the process of obtaining licensure). Familiarity with local, regional, and state design and zoning standards is a plus.
