Job Description We\'re looking for an experienced Account Development Representative to work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams. The role will include researching target accounts, managing incoming leads, developing call strategies, and following up around lead generation. The ideal candidate will seek new business appointment opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential clients in the franchise automotive vertical while communicating Tekion\'s value proposition to key decision-makers to assess buying interest. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with clients, from the first contact until the appointment is transitioned to the Field Sales Team. Responsibilities
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs for setting up appointments with potential customers
Independently build, plan and execute a territory plan and identify prioritization for initial customer contact
Contact and penetrate high profile automotive dealerships at the Owner, General Manager, or Chief Financial Officer level to schedule meetings with our Field Sales Representatives
Describe and present the Tekion Value Proposition to clients to entice them to schedule a meeting with our sales team
Track, analyze and review calls, appointments, and follow-up communication with high profile executives
Interact with Field Sales Representatives to transfer knowledge of customer expectations and schedule the initial customer meeting
Must be self-motivated to achieve appointment KPIs
Qualifications
Never take no for an answer attitude
Prior work experience in retail customer service, inside sales, or business development
Hands-on experience with multiple cold calling lead generation techniques
Strong detail orientation and project planning to prioritize daily and weekly outreach strategy
Track record of achieving lead generation (appointment) quotas
Ability to drive the appointment process independently and creatively
Resourceful with the ability to solve problems from beginning to end
Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Bachelor\'s Degree in Business or relevant work experience
Take accountability and practice extreme ownership
Candidates within 40 miles of West Chester office will be expected to work a hybrid schedule (2-3 days in the office)

The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across applicable US locations. The actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to the compensation listed, this position may be eligible for equity compensation, and/or a bonus or commission whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual or company performance. Base Salary Range
$52,900—$88,000 USD
