
Overview
Own end-to-end operations integration planning and execution
Drive operational synergy delivery (cost, footprint, productivity, working capital)
Lead integration across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, procurement, and logistics
Establish integration governance, milestones, and executive reporting
Support operational due diligence and pre-close integration planning
Partner cross-functionally with Finance, IT, HR, Procurement, and Business Units leadership
Integration Leadership & Governance
Lead end-to-end operational integration planning and execution for acquisitions and divestitures
Establish integration governance, cadence, KPI tracking, and executive reporting
Act as primary operations liaison between corporate leadership, business unit leaders, and site leadership
Drive disciplined execution using structured integration frameworks and project management tools
Synergy & Value Capture
Translate deal thesis into measurable operational synergy initiatives (cost, footprint, productivity, working capital, capex, service levels)
Own synergy roadmap, milestones, benefits tracking, and risk mitigation
Identify additional value creation opportunities post-close
Manufacturing & Supply Chain Integration
Lead integration across: Plant operations & footprint strategy; Production planning & scheduling; Quality systems & certifications; Procurement & supplier consolidation; Logistics & distribution networks; Make/buy an automation strategy
Systems & Process Harmonization
Drive alignment of operating models, KPIs, and management systems (Lean, OEE, safety, quality, cost)
Partner with IT on ERP / MES / planning systems integration
Standardize core operational processes and governance
Stakeholder & Change Leadership
Influence senior leaders without direct authority
Lead cross-functional teams across Operations, Finance, HR, IT, Legal, and Commercial
Manage site-level change, communication, and cultural integration
Serve as an escalation point for integration risks and execution gaps
Transaction Support (Pre-Close)
Support operational due diligence
Assess manufacturing footprint, capacity, cost structure, and operational risks
Provide integration complexity estimates and synergy validation to deal teams
Qualifications
Experience
8–12+ years in Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Consulting, or Corporate Strategy
4+ years leading M&A integrations or large-scale operational transformations
Direct experience in industrial / manufacturing environments strongly preferred
Proven ownership of synergy delivery and multi-site execution
Skills & Capabilities
Expert in operational excellence frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma, OEE, TPM, etc.)
Strong financial acumen (P&L, cost modeling, synergy tracking)
Advanced project/program management
Executive-level communication and executive presence
High tolerance for ambiguity and rapid context switching
Ability to operate equally at the plant-floor and boardroom level
Education
Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or Business preferred)
MBA or Master’s degree a plus
Travel 25%
