Sales & Service Development Representative I – Location: Irvine, CA – On-site Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: $22/hour

Role Overview

At Mutual of Omaha Mortgage, we’re seeking experienced call center sales & service professionals to handle a high volume of inbound calls. This role emphasizes developing new opportunities through structured outreach, prospecting, and lead qualification. The ideal candidate is a fast learner with strong communications skills, able to follow scripts, adapt in the moment, and quickly build rapport. Success in this role requires thriving in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and effectively engaging customers.

Key Responsibilities Manage a high volume of warm inbound calls efficiently, with a focus on servicing, prospecting, and lead qualification.

Conduct initial contact and follow-up to identify needs and determine customer fit

Follow scripts verbatim for products and services, applying rebuttals as needed

Build trust-based relationships by going above and beyond in addressing early customer concerns

Offer service support or handle simple service questions prior to transferring to a loan officer

Consistently meet individual and team targets for lead conversion, customer service, productivity, and quality

What You’ll Need to Succeed 1+ years of experience inbound sales, call center, or phone-based customer engagement

Excellent phone communication skills—clear, confident, and persuasive

Strong ability to qualify leads, handle objections, and follow structured scripts

Proven track record of proactive outreach and early-stage sales development

Proficiency (or strong willingness to learn) Salesforce, Five9, and Yonyx

Ability to multitask and manage time in a high-volume environment

Growth-oriented, proactive, and aligned with early-stage sales culture

Preferred: Background in mortgage, finance, and/or sales

Vacation — Vacation hours accrue on a per pay period basis. Balance maximums are based on years of service.

Paid Sick Time — 40 hours of paid sick time after 90 days of employment. State sick time requirements will be added as needed.
