Overview

The Sales Support Coordinator is an internal-facing role within the Sales Engineering department, responsible for ensuring that sales opportunities and renewals are properly created, tracked, documented, and converted into accurate, customer-ready proposals based on solutions designed and approved by Sales Engineers. This role serves as the operational and documentation backbone of the Sales Engineering function. It ensures that every request submitted to Sales Engineering results in a structured Connectwise opportunity, complete solution documentation, and a clean handoff to service delivery. This position is largely non-customer-facing and does not carry a sales quota. Responsibilities

OPPORTUNITY CREATION & MANAGEMENT Create and maintain a Connectwise opportunity for every new sales request submitted to Sales Engineering Validate that required opportunity information and documentation is present before opportunities advance Enforce standardized opportunity creation and requirements Ensure accurate tracking of opportunity status, timelines, and ownership PROPOSAL ASSEMBLY Build proposals using approved solution designs from Sales Engineers Translate technical solutions into accurate, professional, client-ready proposals Ensure scope, assumptions, exclusions, dependencies, and pricing are clearly documented Manage internal approvals, version control, and document readiness prior to release RENEWAL OPPORTUNITY MANAGEMENT Track contract, license, and subscription renewal dates for managed products and services, including: Firewalls and security licenses SaaS and cloud subscriptions Hardware support and maintenance agreements Proactively create renewal opportunities in the CRM within defined timeframes (e.g., 90–120 days prior to renewal) Ensure renewal opportunities are properly categorized, documented, and assigned Assemble renewal quotes and documentation using approved templates and pricing inputs Ensure renewal opportunities follow the same documentation and approval standards as new business CONNECTWISE ACCURACY & INTEGRITY Maintain high standards of Connectwise data accuracy Ensure opportunity status accurately reflect the solution, scope, and pricing Identify and correct missing, incomplete, or inaccurate opportunity records INTERNAL COORDINATION/SALES HANDOFF Assemble sales-to-delivery handoff documentation using finalized proposal data Ensure all required artifacts are completed prior to deal closure Coordinate internally to confirm readiness for implementation or renewal execution Support consistent transitions from Sales Engineering to Service Delivery Skills and Attributes

DESIRED Experience in MSP, IT services, telecom, or professional services preferred Experience working with Connectwise or other CRM Systems Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Process-driven mindset with the ability to enforce standards Ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines simultaneously Comfortable coordinating across Sales Engineering, Sales, Accounting, and Operations Comfortable working with Connectwise, proposal tools, and pricing worksheets Ability to understand technical services at a high level
