Overview

The Financial Analyst is responsible for peer intelligence and investor relations. The Financial Analyst tracks energy infrastructure, power and utility companies, and continually engages with the institutional investor community. The Financial Analyst should be fluent in quantitative methods to build financial models, analyze capital markets, track operational, financial & transactional metrics of public and private industry participants. Tracks high-level industry, capital market and competitor developments, follow key policy, regulatory and customer and other events around the country and region Supports engagement with equity and fixed-income investors through calls, meetings and other interactions Participates in all aspects of the quarterly earnings process including preparation of press releases, other earnings materials and conference call script Builds financial models, forecast and track industry peer valuation and other metrics Supports development of investor relations strategy, engaging with senior management, FP&A, regulatory and other areas of the company Participates in industry investor conferences and meetings Monitors equity and fixed income investor ownership trends Manage comprehensive scheduling, including coordinating internal and external meetings, maintaining executive calendars, arranging investor calls and roadshows, and ensuring timely distribution of agendas, materials, and follow-ups. Position Education, Experience and Skills Required

BS required, Finance/Accounting or other quantitative field preferred A minimum of 1 year experience, preferably in finance, capital markets, or accounting High level of curiosity & energy Serious interest in a career in finance, capital markets and energy infrastructure Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and problem solving skills Outstanding verbal and writing communication skills Excel proficiency Self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively across functions Knowledge of capital markets Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain relationships across the organization and with external stakeholders As a public utility, NiSource is required to provide continuous service to customers at all times. Salary Range*:

$69,900.00 - $105,000.00 The salary offered to a candidate is based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity. Posting Dates
