The Associate Director, Core Team Leader (CTL) serves as the cross-functional business leader responsible for driving decision-making within development projects using the Core Team model. The CTL leads the team to achieve business outcomes aligned with overall Infusion strategy and is accountable for all aspects of assigned projects. This includes building high-performing teams skilled in planning and execution to ensure predictable delivery of reliable solutions for commercial release. Beyond platform leadership, the CTL plays a critical role in mentoring and developing Core Team Members to function as an effective, collaborative unit. Acting as the primary champion for the team, the CTL removes barriers, accelerates decisions, and fosters a culture of empowerment across the organization. Lead core team(s) for medical device software products. Provide cross-functional leadership to direct and indirect reports, with the ability to deep dive and drive decisions across functions and stakeholders. Lead organizational change initiatives to improve product development efficiency, accelerate time-to-market, and enhance compliance in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape. Partner with program managers to develop and communicate project plans and timelines. Full ownership and accountability for the platform’s commitments, goals, and deliverables. Drive platform goals and roadmaps during Annual Strategic Review planning. Lead and work with Functional Leaders to assign FTEs to achieve platform goals. Work with other leaders to mentor, develop and performance manage talent assigned to the platform. Plan and administer yearly platform budget to ensure proper execution of deliverables as aligned to business strategy. Develop and execute cross-functional strategies (e.g., product development, regulatory, service, deployment) at the appropriate stages of the project. Champion effective escalation processes to resolve critical issues quickly and effectively. Facilitate risk management by identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring contingency plans are in place. Drive innovative problem-solving and rapid issue resolution to maintain project momentum. Serve as a leadership role model across the organization, mentoring emerging leaders and promoting a high-performance culture that values accountability and collaboration. Minimum Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Science or Engineering 10+ years of progressive experience in R&D, including at least 4 years in a people or technical leadership role, or a PhD in a relevant engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience. Software development knowledge (Biotech or Medtech software) Demonstrated track record of leadership and delivering results Experience working with and leading large cross-functional teams Experience managing complex projects in a Medical Device or other regulated environment Experience with process validation, and design transfer Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong bias towards action and sense of teamwork and collaboration Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree or PhD (preferred over Bachelor's) Experience specifically in FDA-regulated environments (FDA experience is preferred over other regulatory environments) Experience with infusion solutions specifically Work Environment and Compliance
