Responsibilities

Focus on acquiring new customers through disciplined territory and account management

Own the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to contract closure

Identify and articulate prospect business outcomes and solution gaps

Manage and document all sales activities using Salesforce

Provide insights on market trends and contribute to solution development for prospects

Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years of experience selling complex software solutions, preferably SaaS

Proven track record of success in selling to Higher Education institutions

Strong understanding of procurement solutions and technology

Proficiency in solution selling and managing complex sales cycles

BA/BS degree required, with the ability to travel as needed for meetings and conferences

Preferred Qualifications

Experience meeting or exceeding sales quotas in software sales

Established network within the Higher Education sector

Strong presentation and writing skills that resonate with C-level executives

Active participation in business associations and social media networking
