As the Global Strategic Alliances Leader for the Agentic Commerce and Retail industry, you will focus on driving the partner strategy for this industry, while delivering the credibility and thought leadership needed to build relationships and GTM solutions with our partners’ Retail industry practices to grow the value of our joint business specific to Agentic Commerce and Retail. A priority focus is to align partners with the shift towards AI-driven shopping, ensuring they view Stripe as a strategic partner in this evolving landscape. You will work in alignment with our Industry GTM, Agentic Commerce GTM, and Product teams and collaborate with core sales, solution architects, and product marketing teams. You will define and align Agentic solutions geared toward the Retail industry with select partners and broader customer and digital transformation initiatives where agentic commerce, payments, and billing are cornerstones. Success is measured by new user acquisition and revenue growth led and delivered by this cohort of partners. You will bring immediate credibility when engaging with senior executives in our partners’ industry practices.

Responsibilities

Own identifying, prioritizing, and engaging with key Retail partners to build a global ecosystem that powers Stripe’s leadership in the industry. Accelerate the Stripe GTM strategy for the next wave of Agentic Commerce growth through the creation of partner solutions with our top partners. Facilitate effective co-selling strategies and execution with partners for agentic solutions. Own the overall partner plan to drive execution across enablement, solutions, marketing, investments, and GTM initiatives. Engage with the senior leaders of Stripe across product and go-to-market teams to align and influence strategy and roadmaps. Work with partners to embed Stripe in our partner Retail solutions and drive incremental pipeline via their routes to market. Engage deeply with the Stripe field teams to drive top-of-funnel and partner-led initiatives. Ensure partners are well-equipped to deliver the highest quality solutions and services offerings. Evangelize our top partners internally across Stripe and externally with users, analysts, and influencers. Enterprise selling – continue to stay engaged with account teams until the deal is signed and activated. Work with product and GTM teams to engage partners to provide insights to continue to shape industry-leading solutions. Who you are

You are capable of engaging in business-level and technical conversations at multiple levels of our partners’ organization. You are an organized self-starter, an excellent communicator who is highly analytical and has a track record for improving the processes and organizations around you. You like to roll up your sleeves and make things happen. Minimum Requirements

The Global Strategic Alliances Lead for Retail will be a seasoned professional with strong business strategy, business development, and partner go-to-market business model experience. You are capable of engaging in business-level and technical conversations at multiple levels of our partners’ organization. You are an organized self-starter, an excellent communicator who is highly analytical and has a track record for improving the processes and organizations around you. We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement. 10+ years of experience leading field/partner teams with at least 4 years of global experience. Strong enterprise background delivering complex, innovative solutions at scale. Deep experience partnering with large systems integrators (Accenture, PwC, Infosys, etc.). Proven experience with enterprise software and services platforms including AWS, SFDC, Adobe, and similar products. Industry experience with Retail and Travel/Hospitality Understanding of the landscape and market opportunities with Agentic Commerce. Knowledge of the end-to-end retail process from content syndicators to order fulfillment. Strong track record of exceeding customer acquisition and revenue goals. Proven ability to present and evangelize new products and solutions to executives (business and technical) and external audiences. Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional global teams, including product and sales. Preferred Qualifications

Experience defining and implementing new business models. Experience in a top-tier Global SI firm or Enterprise Cloud Software firm. Start-up and early-stage company experience with demonstrated success growing customer adoption and top-line revenue globally. Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Hybrid work at Stripe

This role is available either in an office or a remote location (35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office). In-office expectations: Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users, balancing in-person collaboration with flexibility. Working remotely at Stripe: A remote location is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. You would be welcome to come into the office for meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, but our expectation is you would regularly work from home. The annual US base salary range for this role is $172,900 - $259,300. For sales roles, the range includes base salary plus sales commissions/bonuses (On Target Earnings). Salary ranges may be narrowed during the interview process based on experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants outside the US may request the local salary range during the interview process. Additional benefits may include equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses, 401(k), medical/dental/vision, and wellness stipends.
