The Biological Key Account Sales Representative drives sales growth within an assigned territory by generating product demand, managing key accounts, and coordinating cross-functional teams to execute regional go-to-market strategies. This role requires building strong relationships across the business, forecasting inventory needs, and ensuring alignment between field execution and sales targets.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product Specialists and Product Managers to develop quarterly business plans and sales forecasts for assigned territory

Serve as the technical expert and primary advocate for Syngenta Biological products (branded and private label), driving adoption within customer portfolios

Monitor market trends and sales deviations, proactively communicating insights to Key Account Managers to adjust forecasts and strategies

Design and execute territory sales programs while coordinating field trials and collecting performance data to support product validation

Deliver technical training to growers, technicians, and sales teams, and organize local meetings to strengthen product knowledge and customer engagement

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required (Agricultural, Biological Sciences, or Ag Business preferred); minimum 5 years of agribusiness sales experience (8 years if degree is in unrelated field), preferably in biologicals or biocontrol

Strong agronomic knowledge and proven experience serving as a trusted technical advisor on regional crops, with ability to address complex customer inquiries

Demonstrated success working with distribution partners at the business unit level, including Product Specialists, Product Managers and commercial teams

Exceptional communication and public speaking skills with ability to deliver technical training, conduct presentations, and influence customers through consultative selling

Highly organized and self-motivated with strong planning skills; must reside in assigned territory and be available for ~30% travel, including occasional overnight stays

Additional Information

Salary for this role is $97,300 - $180,700 per year.
