Job Description
About the Role: As a Sales Advisor, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, welcoming and guiding customers through the store to actively sell our products and provide support and guidance. You’ll use your fashion and product knowledge to give customers all the relevant information they need for the best experience. You’ll also work on garment refill and care, presentation and contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house, working closely with the rest of your store team to deliver an excellent customer experience.
A Day in the Life Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities.
Customer Sales & Profit: provide excellent customer service by welcoming and guiding customers through the store and the OMNI experience where available, supporting them with direct customer service
Engage with customers to have conversations and provide excellent service
Guide customers through fashion trends, stories and products in all areas of the store
Promote and sell products effectively
Actively promote the Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives
Represent the H&M brand positively during all customer interactions
Support with commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets with the store management team
General Information
Fashion & Trend Awareness: Keep up-to-date with fashion trends, styles, brands, products, competitors and relevant influencers; share relevant information with customers
Team & Development: Retain and share service, fashion and store operations knowledge with colleagues; follow procedures and legal requirements; give and receive feedback; participate in onboarding and trainings relevant for your role
Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution: Complete garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming and garment care; operate fitting room and checkout areas; contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house; support garment presentation and displays according to guidelines; maintain stock levels with replenishment; follow in-store OMNI services and tech tools; assist with opening and closing the store; follow all H&S guidelines and legal requirements
Qualifications
As a Sales Advisor, you should be passionate about fashion and what we create in-store
Motivated by giving customers a great experience
Good communication, creativity, curiosity, motivation, flexibility, decisiveness and action-orientation
Enjoy working in a collaborative and dynamic environment
Sales experience in a dynamic, collaborative environment relevant to the role
Experience in customer service in fashion, retail or service-related industries
