Company: Signarama Evansville Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday 8am-5pm
About the Role Signarama Evansville is hiring a Client Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of existing clients. This is not a cold-calling role and it is not an order-taking position.
You will inherit an established book of business and be expected to expand it—by building relationships, identifying opportunities, and helping clients do more with signage, graphics, and visual communication.
Growth is not optional in this role; it is achieved through proactive account ownership, not pressure tactics.
If you’re energized by turning “we already work with them” into “we’re their go-to partner,” this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Own an Existing Client Portfolio — Take full ownership of a defined group of current clients
Learn each client’s business, decision-makers, and buying patterns
Serve as their primary point of contact
Drive Growth Within Existing Accounts — Proactively identify opportunities to: increase order size; expand product mix; support seasonal or multi-location needs
Follow up after completed projects to uncover next opportunities when it adds value for the client
Re-engage dormant or underutilized clients
Handle Inbound Requests with Intent — Respond promptly to inbound orders from assigned clients
Ask smart, exploratory questions (not just “what size?”)
Write accurate, well-scoped quotes and orders
Balance responsiveness with strategic thinking
Collaborate Internally — Work closely with production, design, and install teams
Quote work that fits capacity, timelines, and margin expectations
Take ownership of projects through completion from a client communication and accountability standpoint
What This Role Is Not
Not a front-desk or customer service role
Not pure inbound order processing
Not cold calling or door-to-door sales
Not a senior account executive role
Not a role for someone who prefers reactive work only
Success is measured by growth, not activity.
What Winning Looks Like
Assigned clients increase their annual spend
Average order value grows
Clients rely on you for guidance, not just pricing
Revenue grows profitably and sustainably
What We’re Looking For
Experience in sales, account management, or client development
Strong communication and follow-up skills
Curiosity about clients’ businesses
Comfort initiating conversations (not waiting for the phone to ring)
Organized, accountable, and coachable
Sign, print, construction, or B2B service experience is a plus—but not required
Compensation & Benefits
Health insurance options
Paid time off
Stable schedule (no nights or weekends)
Supportive, team-oriented environment
Note: This description reflects the current role and responsibilities and does not imply a guaranteed duration of employment.
