
Overview
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of customer service and sales; and know how to build customer and client relationships. We're seeking a quick learner who has strong listening and negotiating skills as well as an ability to showcase our markets and services in a compelling way. The Outside Sales Representative must be both approachable and professional in order to help us extend our reach and impact.
Objectives of this role
Represent our organization effectively by developing comprehensive knowledge of our offerings
Maximize sales performance through strong relationships with clients and awareness of their needs and lifestyles
Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales and activity quotas
Generate leads by committing to customer service and building relationships
Adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of the company produce agriculture trends; our offerings, research consumer needs, and identify how our solutions can address those needs
Work with Management to design industry-specific outreach efforts
Conduct month-end and year-end close processes
Required skills and qualifications
Three or more years of sales experience
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to travel to/from all Eat Right Atlanta Farmers Markets
Strong ability to analyze business opportunities effectively
Preferred skills and qualifications
Good interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to overcome objections from potential clients/customers
Experience with commissioned sales, field sales, or related fields
Self-motivated energy
