Regional Sales Manager, Personal Safety Division - Southcentral Region

Responsibilities
Leading a team to realize our mission of helping people return home at the end of the day safely to their families and serve as a trusted advisor to the health and safety leaders at our customers
Building the strategy and operational plans to deliver growth of PSD segments and portfolios within the Southcentral Region
Building C-suite relationships with our customers
Directing, coaching/mentoring, and developing the team to maximize selling skills, strategic business acumen, and territory productivity (i.e., Salesforce.com, Sales Aid, Category Management)
Creating a plan that will enable enhanced relationships and growth with customers located in the Southcentral Region (includes collaboration with other PSD regions and partner divisions)
Overseeing, driving, and managing the successful execution of business strategies to profitably grow Personal Safety Division’s market segments within the Southcentral Region
Managing the profitable growth of end-user customers sales revenue and market share
Identifying and executing opportunities for deeper collaboration with PSD cross-functional team members (i.e., Marketing Portfolio Team Members and Application Engineering)
Work collaboratively with the General Industrial Channel Sales Team to train Distribution Sales Specialists and cross-functional 3M Sales Team based on business unit requirements
Special Projects when and where applicable
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
Five (5) years of sales, distributor, and/or marketing experience in a private, government or military environment
Current, valid driver’s license
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications from an accredited institution
Seven (7) years of field sales experience in a private, government or military environment
Strong experience with profession field sales selling
Professional sales experience selling through distributor partners
Proven track record of leading high performing selling teams and delivering results
Strong business development skills
Coaching and performance management experience
Salesforce and territory management experience
Sales Management experience
Safety Certifications
Work Location
Remote, Southcentral Region, field based, preferably within the Houston, Dallas, or Austin areas.
Travel In this role, you will be required to travel approximately 60% of the time domestically (sometimes more), which may involve overnight stays.
