Yes – Must be available to perform a primary assignment in support of DTE\'s emergency response to storms or other events that impact service to our customers. Job Summary

Responsible for organizing and planning in the field execution of internal reliability and construction projects. Provides oversight on projects and key tasks for day to day planning and execution of construction projects performed by resources. Responsible for ensuring projects are constructed in accordance with Company standards, specifications, schedules and requirements. Interfaces with non-Company personnel to ensure the optimal allocation of support resources is utilized to meet project schedule objectives in a cost efficient manner. Works directly with project managers and project engineers on constructability reviews, technical aspects of the designs, schedule objectives, project planning, safety plan development, quality plan development, and cost effective installations. Span of control: 3-5 projects and multiple vendors per project. This position requires 90% travel within the state of Michigan. Key Accountabilities

Reviews design/construction drawings for constructability. Coordinate with personnel to refine construction plans and schedule to ensure they align with key objectives. Coordinates construction activities on multiple projects to avoid interferences when working in common areas and adjacent to other internal groups performing maintenance or project work; facilitates coordination between multiple contractors. Leads project safety efforts; provides input in the development of project specific safety plans, performs field safety observations, and addresses violations or concerns. Reviews life critical work/tasks with craft before beginning to ensure appropriate planning and coordination to avoid safety incidents. Coordinate with engineering, subject matter experts, and project stakeholders to develop a quality plan (identify critical characteristics, hold points, acceptance testing, etc.). Work with project manager to resolve escalated construction project concerns and coordinate with contractors, customers, agencies, and other parties to determine project and scheduling solutions. Ensure as-built drawings are created for work installed; review as-builts before payment to contractor is approved. Ensure resources and workloads are balanced; monitor productivity and work progress; adjust workloads if standards are not met. Collaborate with the client/business unit partner to coordinate equipment tie-ins to existing facilities within approved schedules. Perform post-construction walk-downs of all systems prior to Company acceptance from Contractors. Lead the timely completion of punch list items. Apply and work with new construction materials, practices and technologies where appropriate for the project. Act as key tag protection leader or job leader per applicable Corporate policy. Support continuous improvement efforts. Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

Minimum: High school diploma or GED with 6 years of job-relevant experience, OR Associate\'s degree with 4 years of job-relevant experience, OR Bachelor\'s degree with 2 years of job-relevant experience Preferred: Certificate in a job-relevant skilled trade or completion of a skilled trade apprenticeship Bachelor\'s degree in construction management Experience with workload planning High level knowledge of integrity management program Workload planning experience Knowledge of In Line Inspection (ILI) pigging operations Other Qualifications

Proficiency in applicable software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Maximo) to apply them with minimal instruction or guidance Experience managing multiple projects and dealing with customers Effective verbal and written communication with individuals at all levels Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify key issues and recommend solutions Thorough knowledge of project management concepts and processes, and project controls related to design, procurement and construction management Ability to apply project planning, implementation and continuous improvement principles Ability to work overtime and varying shifts as required Ability to work in a team or matrix structure, supporting multiple clients Ability to conduct effective meetings with craft and facility stakeholders Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities Additional Information
