Gersh is seeking an ambitious Assistant to support
2 Agents
within the Digital department at our Beverly Hills office. Digital manages everything from brand partnerships to affiliate marketing, product licensing and beyond. They specialize in representing digital‑first talent in all verticals and have huge success in building out their brand businesses. The ideal candidate for this position has an interest in becoming a digital talent agent, a passion for all things in the digital sphere and at least one year of professional experience in the entertainment industry, specifically within digital, branding, or podcasting. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who is driven, resourceful, highly organized, proactive, and passionate about building a career in Digital. Note: This is a double desk assistant position with two different focuses. One desk will have traditional digital assistant functions while the other desk will have assistant functions that focus on podcasts. A background in podcasting, especially knowledge of how podcasts monetize, and knowledge of podcast networks would be helpful as podcasting and digital are very different. The needs will vary across the two desks. Duties
Administrative support, including monitoring emails, screening phone calls, setting calls and meetings across multiple calendars, and managing calendar. Act as liaison for clients with brands and third‑party marketing agencies, drafting, sending, and tracking all deal memos and campaign execution. Work closely with accounting to track and input client bookings, and submit invoices. Help expand and source our database of digital talent using a variety of research tools and your own social knowledge. Effectively communicate and interact with high‑profile clients, prospective clients, managers, brand partners, and executives with the utmost professionalism. Track podcast deals, offers, renewals, and negotiations, including network partnerships, ad‑sales agreements, and distribution arrangements. Maintain up‑to‑date internal trackers and databases for podcast clients, networks, advertisers, production companies, and platforms. Coordinate submissions, pitches, and materials for podcast opportunities, including one‑sheets, pitch summaries, episode outlines, and audience metrics. Liaise with podcast networks, advertisers, production partners, and legal/business affairs teams to ensure smooth deal flow and execution. Monitor the podcast and audio landscape, staying current on industry trends, platforms, networks, and emerging opportunities. Assist with cross‑department collaboration to identify opportunities for podcast clients in digital, brand partnerships, live events, publishing, television, and other extensions. Support podcast launch planning and ongoing client management, including scheduling recordings, release coordination, and promotional timelines. Ad‑hoc duties for projects as needed. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required. Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion. Prior internships or job experience in the digital or podcast landscape is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with the podcast ecosystem, including major networks, platforms, ad‑sales models, and monetization structures is a must. Comfortable conducting research on podcast talent, platforms, advertisers, and market trends. Superior time management and multi‑tasking skills. Ability to make sound decisions efficiently and effectively using critical thinking and practical approaches. Able to work well in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment. Strong attention to detail with excellent follow‑through. Demonstrated interest in talent/influencers, music, sports, entertainment, and pop culture. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (proficiency in Airtable or another CRM platform is a plus). Willingness to make a two‑year commitment + strong interest in the career track to become a Digital Talent agent. Compensation
