Role Overview
: Customer Service Representative 2s are responsible for administering and evaluating driving exams, as well as assisting customers with titles and registrations. In this role, you will evaluate customers’ knowledge and ability to adhere to traffic laws in a calm and patient manner. When not facilitating exams, you will process transactions for customers at the frontline.
Salary Statement
: The salary for this position typically starts at $31,668.00. A Day in the Life:
The essential functions of this role include: Administer skill tests and evaluate driving skills. Assist customers with vehicle/watercraft titles and registration needs. Maintain compliance with all Indiana laws related to the operation, licensure, and registration of motor vehicles. Attend training classes and/or take certification tests as required. Maintain customer privacy and confidentiality of related records. Substitute for other Customer Service Representatives as needed. This job description is not exhaustive and may change based on agency needs. What You'll Need for Success:
Requirements for consideration include: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be 21 years of age or older. Valid driver’s license for at least the past 12 months. No at-fault motor vehicle accidents resulting in death or serious injury. Ability to travel up to 20% for branch locations, training, or community activities. Ability to relate tactfully and decisively with various people and situations, requiring calmness, alertness, quick reflexes, and patience. Familiarity with all types of motor vehicles. Knowledge of Indiana driving laws. Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills. Ability to process cash and card transactions. Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations. Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports:
This role may include supervisory duties depending on agency needs.
