Currently seeking a Commercial Lines Underwriter for our Florida Georgia region to assist in the acquisition and retention of profitable commercial lines customers, through following sound underwriting principles reflective of company policy. The Underwriter will work with assigned agents in meeting profitability and production goals, by following guidelines and establishing business relationships, along with managing the pricing and underwriting of an assigned territory of business.

The selected candidate will work in our Sarasota or Lake Mary office or remote within Florida.

The salary range for this position is $62,419-$96,126 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

Manage pricing and underwriting for an assigned territory of business.

Qualifications Required

Experience in commercial lines underwriting or a related underwriting role

Preferred

Industry designations such as CIC, CPCU or other designations that relate to the insurance industry are preferred
