What You'll Do We're a high-performing, collaborative team that thrives on turning strategy into results. On any given day, you'll collaborate with your team to strategize, grow and manage your book of business, build lasting client partnerships, and prospect new opportunities—whether in the office or out in the field.
Drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities; partner with existing clients to optimize their digital advertising strategies and amplify Cox Media's media solutions
Cultivate new business opportunities while deepening relationships with existing clients through proactive outreach and upselling to drive incremental revenue
Sell a mix of customized advertising solutions across Cox Media's multichannel portfolio, including TV, digital video, streaming, display, social media, and paid search
Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning and sustained revenue growth
Educate clients on how data-driven strategies can elevate their brand and deliver measurable outcomes
Guide clients in leveraging digital and cross-platform campaigns to build brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and achieve business goals
Create and deliver presentations and proposals that showcase the value of Cox Media's advertising solutions
Develop and build an expansive book of business through strategic prospecting—as well as consultative account management—to deliver results
Collaborate with internal teams—including creative, research, and digital—to deliver campaign execution, optimize performance, and ensure client satisfaction
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client communications in CRM systems
Represent Cox Media with energy and excellence in the office or in the field
Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to generate leads
What You Bring Skills and Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' related experience; or a master's degree with 2 years' experience; or eight (8) years of related experience in lieu of a degree
Proven success in sales/business development: identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and exceeding sales goals
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to close deals and foster long-term partnerships
Ability to use data in the development and sale of a media strategy
Skilled at presenting complex solutions in a simple, easy-to-understand manner
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining high levels of client relationships and business excellence
A valid driver's license, good driving record and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
Expert in prospecting new business and nurturing existing client relationships through consultative selling and deep digital marketing expertise to deliver impactful, customized solutions
Demonstrated success in developing strategic advertising solutions informed by a deep understanding of the evolving digital and media landscape
Proven experience selling multi-platform digital advertising and media solutions, with a strong ability to adopt new technologies and approaches in a fast-changing environment
Industry certifications and/or Google Ads certification (formerly AdWords)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering business excellence

Compensation and Benefits USD 39,000.00 - 58,400.00 per year. Compensation includes a base salary of $39,000.00 - $58,400.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on location and experience. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $58,400.00 - $87,600.00.

The Company offers vacation with pay, seven paid holidays per year, and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for employees and dependents. Additional paid time off includes bereavement leave, voting time off, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
