The Role
Amphenol Military & Aerospace Operations is seeking a
Regional Distribution Sales Manager
to work out of a home office in the Southwest Region, to cover accounts in Southern CA, AZ, and NM.
The
Regional Distribution Sales Manager
is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and strengthening our distribution channel engagement across this region. This role manages all aspects of distributor performance, including demand creation, sales enablement, pipeline development, and program execution for the full interconnect portfolio. The
Regional Distribution Sales Manager
serves as the primary point of contact for regional distribution partners and works cross-functionally with internal teams to support design wins and maximize bookings and billings.
The key responsibilities of the
Regional Distribution Sales Manager
include but are not limited to:
Own Point of Sale (POS) growth, bookings, and funnel development for the region's distributor network
Monitor distributor performance, forecasts, and inventory levels to ensure channel alignment and maximize sell-through
Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with each distributor
Partner with distributor colleagues to identify new design opportunities
Identify and prioritize under-penetrated accounts, new programs, and growth verticals
Utilize industry data and competitive intelligence to position the portfolio against competition
Contribute to product positioning, channel programs, and promotional strategies based on field insights
Salary:
$80,000 - $150,000
The Person The key skills and qualities of a
Regional Distribution Sales Manager
at Amphenol Military & Aerospace Operations:
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field; or equivalent professional experience
5 years of sales experience in the interconnect, IP&E, or electronics distribution industry
Strong understanding of the distribution ecosystem preferred
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Willingness to travel 40-60% within assigned territory
Must live in the Southwest Region
