The Rental Equipment Sales Representative’s primary purpose is to generate revenue by renting CAT & allied equipment, selling non-hour metered allied equipment and merchandise, and selling Wagner Rents equipment service capabilities in a manner that reflects the company’s vision of working as “One Professional Team.” Develop and enhance sales coverage within a designated territory consistent with the Wagner Rents customer satisfaction philosophy. Meet or exceed monthly budgeted rental revenue, consumable revenue, and growth of territory market share goals. Prepares daily sales calls/progress reports documentation and develops weekly sales forecasts. Manage business-related expenses and interface effectively with other Wagner field personnel and departments. Respond to customer calls at all times of the day and night and research new leads and sales prospects. Conduct face-to-face cold calls to prospective customers and develop new accounts within the designated territory. Service current rental and sales customers’ needs and maintain knowledge of all products and services for sale and rent by Wagner Rents. Other duties as assigned by manager. Essential Functions

High School Diploma or GED Some College or Trade School Preferred 10+ years sales experience in the heavy or rental equipment industry 1+ years administrative/clerical experience 3+ years customer service experience 3+ years sales experience Physical Demands & Competencies
Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing Data entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills Safety & product knowledge Ability to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, etc. Medium work that includes lifting and/or moving objects up to 32 pounds or more Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel Work Environment
