Business Account Executive — TDS Telecom Location:

Great Falls, MT . This position is in the Commercial Sales team and focuses on identifying opportunities to leverage TDS' full range of solutions, including hosted and premise-based VoIP solutions, managed services, and web security. You will be a business-to-business sales professional responsible for developing new business opportunities through prospecting and field activity. Account Executives are targeted to make

$88,920+

per year (Base + Commission).

$2,000

sign-on bonus is available.

What does a day in the life look like? You will prospect, develop opportunities, close deals, and process sales while maintaining activity plans in our CRM (Salesforce). You will collaborate with the team through the day, with some trainings or 1-on-1s with your manager.

Location: Great Falls, MT — you will prospect in the field Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

Identify, contact, and build relationships with prospective customers through a combination of telephone and in-person cold calls, networking and referrals to obtain appointments.

Meet or exceed sales growth targets by conducting sales calls to determine customer needs, articulate how TDS can address business challenges, and communicate TDS value proposition.

Maintain accurate and timely customer status and forecasts in the CRM; build and maintain relationships with customers, contacts, prospects, and lead sources.

Leverage the TDS CRM to develop prospecting and sales strategies for high activity and effective closing ratios.

Write and submit accurate and timely new orders following the established sales process.

Qualifications Required Qualifications

2+ years of sales experience.

1+ years of cold calling experience.

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, insurance, and access to reliable transportation.

Other Qualifications

Fast-paced, ever-changing environment adaptability.

Ability to manage a territory using technology, prioritization, and time management.

Track record of success in business-to-business sales.

Excellent verbal and written communications, with ability to persuade.

Access to a cell phone; ability to set and meet goals; ability to work independently.

Computer literacy (Excel, Word, email, Internet).

Ability to maintain quota levels.

About Pay The listed salary includes base pay and potential earnings from meeting sales quotas. The final offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience, location, and role-specific competencies. With uncapped commission incentives, earning potential is substantial.
