
Director, Global Category Management - Electronics

Position Summary:
In concert with the supply chain organization the Director of Global Category Management, Electronics will be responsible for providing comprehensive supply chain leadership on the Electronics Category. This leader will develop the global Electronics category strategy, supporting all applicable business segments. The Director will drive the strategic vision for this category, with a primary focus on material cost management, strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management. This key role will work closely with the global supply chain teams, operations, plant and corporate leaders in the development of strategic plans and supporting objectives to drive overall performance across Regal Rexnord.
Primary Responsibilities: Develop and drive a multi-tier electronics component strategy, including developing a preferred distributor and component manufacturing strategy, negotiations, and implementation Lead Supplier management strategy for Electronics, including EMS, active, and passive component suppliers Partner with business segments and influence the strategic direction of the category strategy, including design criteria, component selection, and directed sourcing requirements (Tier 2/Tier 3). Support New Product Development (NPD), lead the Electronics Global Council to align strategic partnerships, leverage design requirements for controls and electronic components Leads the effort to achieve and maintain alignment in the value chain between the suppliers, and the end customer in all form, fit, function, price and delivery requirements. Strategically supports divisions within the larger function of Global Supply Chain. Manages, tracks, and reports key drivers, market trends from a historical and forecasting perspective. Establishes and implements countermeasures to compensate for negative performance and market trends. Builds and maintains solid relationships with strategic supply chain partners. Partners with the operational purchasing teams to ensure period-over-period process improvements Drives innovation and a focus on continuous improvement within the supply chain organization Responsible for timely reporting to agreed-on KPIs and presents strategic sourcing plans, activities and successes to the Senior Leadership Team. Required Education / Experience / Skills:
BA or BS degree required, preferably in Supply Chain/Operations management. Master's Degree / MBA desired. 10+ years of direct supply chain, operations, distribution or related experience, with several years being in a category management or procurement of electronics Experience with direct material sourcing on a Global scale, with multi-tier supplier relationship management Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to use a structured approach to understand, analyze and solve complex problems / issues Ability to develop working partnerships with senior executives across the business and to challenge and influence them to create change Cross-functional / cross-departmental outlook Strong written communication and excellent oral presentation skills, and the ability to present convincingly at senior levels Travel:

English Compensation Details: The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for all statewide locations across the United States. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons.
