Position Summary

As the Revenue Specialist you will play a pivotal role supporting the Director of Revenue Management in optimizing revenue and profitability for our hotel. You will work directly with the Director of Revenue Management and Reservations Manager to support inventory maintenance, reporting, data collection, and market analysis, and to assist in Group Reservation Management including inventory block management, reservation entry, promotions and customer engagement. This role requires a deep understanding of Hilton systems (GRO – Ideas Revenue Management System, OnQ Rates & Inventory) and Property Management Systems (OnQ PM or PEP), and strong proficiency in Office applications with Excel. The role focuses on four major areas: System Optimization, Reporting/Analysis, Group Reservation Management, and collaboration with hotel teams.

Responsibilities

System Optimization

Manage room inventory allocation and availability across various distribution channels.

Maintain and optimize the CRS (Central Reservation System) to ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory and rate availability.

Manage Passkey System to utilize marketing and promotional offers to group customers.

Reporting And Analysis

Generate reports for Director of Revenue to evaluate the effectiveness of revenue management strategies and market intelligence.

Complete weekly reporting for Revenue Strategy Meetings and Senior Leadership.

Assist with the preparation of the annual room revenue budget and business plans.

Group Reservation Management

Assist Reservations Manager with entry and management of group rooming lists.

Maintain group block inventory management to optimize availability for revenue goals.

Assist in entry of new Group Inventory and update systems to include OnQ R&I, Passkey, OnQ PM/PEP.

Maintain group block management accuracy between sales system (Delphi), OnQ R&I, Passkey, and OnQ PM/PEP.

Team Collaboration

Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the department and Sales Team.

Lead by example with ethical principles and a commitment to high moral standards.

Uphold the hotel's values and code of conduct, fostering integrity and trust within the revenue management and Reservations teams.

Ensure revenue management and reservation practices comply with legal and ethical guidelines.

Secondary Responsibilities

Manage negotiated accounts with the Business & Travel Sales Manager.

Work with the hotel to ensure coding and tracking are performed correctly.

Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field (preferred but not required).

2+ years of experience in Revenue Management.

Microsoft Office Excel intermediate proficiency or higher.

Hilton Revenue Management, Property Management and Central Reservations System preferred.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Experience with group bookings and Delphi is preferred.
