(8+ years) in migrating and analyzing data from TxDOT legacy applications to modern platforms, including cloud-based solutions like Snowflake and Informatica PowerCenter. Advanced proficiency in data cleansing, validation, and stewardship for TxDOTCONNECT and related transportation systems, ensuring high data quality and integrity. Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and automate ETL/ELT pipelines for TxDOT enterprise data, supporting efficient integration and transformation of large, complex datasets. A Data Analyst/Report Writer 3 is needed to work with the Public Transportation Division's Transit Grants Enterprise Management System (TGEMS). The Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting complex data migration and analysis initiatives, leveraging a deep understanding of denormalized data structures and advanced data management techniques. This individual will demonstrate the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and schemas, proactively identify dependencies and gaps, and communicate technical needs with clarity and professionalism. The worker's responsibilities and skills must include:
Collaborating with third-party vendors, validating alternative solutions, and maintaining a solutions-oriented mindset. Create transparent dashboards to track progress, provide visibility to stakeholders, and ensure accountability through precise reporting. Strong project management skills are essential, including surfacing risks, proposing mitigations, and delivering timely status updates. Beyond technical expertise, the Data Analyst will foster a collaborative team environment, share knowledge generously, and serve as a mentor-level resource for others.
