Chubb is seeking a Risk Consultant to join our team, specializing in providing comprehensive risk management solutions for high-net-worth clients. In this role, you will conduct on-site inspections of architecturally significant residential properties, assess vulnerabilities, and develop customized plans to reduce potential losses. You will play a key role in evaluating property structures, establishing pre-loss estimates, and serving as a technical resource for our underwriting team. This position offers autonomy, immediate responsibility, and the opportunity to work within a dynamic, growing organization.

The primary territory is Long Island, with occasional travel to Brooklyn, Westchester, NYC, and surrounding counties.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Conduct on-site inspections of high-value residential properties to identify and assess policyholder vulnerabilities. Develop and implement customized risk management plans to reduce the potential for loss. Evaluate all structures on the property and establish pre-loss estimates for replicating architectural features, often for properties valued over $5 million. Complete a specified number of inspections each month, balancing productivity with adherence to time service and product quality standards. Serve as a technical resource for the underwriting team on personal security, loss prevention, and collections management issues. Communicate expertise to policyholders and agents both on-site and through consultative risk engineering reports. Work autonomously with immediate authority and direct accountability for your work product. Travel primarily within Long Island, with additional coverage in Brooklyn, Westchester, NYC, and surrounding counties as needed. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in architecture, engineering or residential appraisal. Minimum of 2 years of home inspection experience working for a Personal Lines Insurance carrier or a minimum of 3 years of experience with structural valuation, residential construction, residential appraising or property claims. Strong knowledge of the property and casualty insurance risk control and loss prevention analysis; home inspection process; international and local business construction codes; and construction quality, architecture and craftsmanship. An ability to develop and deliver strategic, tailored risk management solutions Project management, and strong oral communication and technical writing skills which are adaptable for multiple audiences. Experience interacting directly with customers and/or insurance agents. Ability to work under deadlines while managing multiple priorities. Effective time management skills, able to prioritize and manage inspection workloads, including flexible considerations for key accounts. Recognize and evaluate local/regional building cost trends within a given marketplace. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with working knowledge of Sharepoint and Apex.

The pay range for the role is $101,000 to $136,320. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
