
Overview
Pyramid is seeking a UX/UI Developer to support a federal client on a major digital modernization initiative. The ideal candidate will design intuitive, accessible user experiences and work closely with cross-functional Agile teams. Responsibilities
Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows based on user research. Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback into iterative designs. Design accessible, standards-based interfaces (WCAG 2.1 / Section 508). Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders in Agile sprints. Support design for cloud-based, API-driven applications. Conduct UX research and usability to design to significantly enhance user experience compared to the legacy system (e.g., intuitive user interface with modernized submission and validation workflows, reduced filer burden through improved error validation, submission guidance, and pre-submission checks). Design to comply with all Federal and client accessibility and security requirements. Gain an understanding of how to group forms to move forms from legacy to the new system as well as components of these forms. Simplify workflows. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Design, CS, or related field. U.S. Citizenship required. 5+ years of UX/UI design experience. Strong experience with prototyping tools (Figma, XD, Sketch). Experience designing within Agile teams. Knowledge of accessibility standards (508/WCAG). Experience conducting UX research and usability to significantly enhance user experience compared to the legacy system. Experience in designing to comply with all Federal and client accessibility and security requirements. Knowledge of executing simplifying workflows. Preferred: Experience with AWS or cloud-native platforms. Experience supporting federal projects or legacy modernization. Target Pay Range
The below listed pay range for this position is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The final offered salary will be influenced by a host of factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
