As Principal, Integrated Campaigns Strategist, you’ll architect and lead the execution of high-impact, global campaigns that generate measurable pipeline and revenue growth for a business at the forefront of the AI agent revolution. Your strategic vision and ability to deliver innovative, data-driven campaigns will help Intercom establish category leadership in the rapidly evolving AI agent market and set the new standard for customer experience.

Team and role summary You’ll join Intercom’s GTM organization, reporting into the Demand Generation team. We are a fast-paced, high-agency group obsessed with delivering world-class, AI-powered customer experiences at scale. Our mission is to accelerate Intercom’s growth by building and executing innovative, full-funnel campaigns that resonate with our target audiences and drive business results.

As Principal, Integrated Campaigns Strategist, you’ll be the strategic quarterback for your campaign portfolio. You will partner closely with product marketing, content, creative, brand, field marketing, and sales, orchestrating cross-functional teams to design and deliver cohesive campaigns that consistently meet pipeline contribution targets. You’ll thrive in an environment that values ownership, speed, and a relentless focus on customer needs.

What will I be doing?

Own the end-to-end strategy and execution of integrated campaigns for a key audience or solution area, driving measurable pipeline growth and revenue impact across global markets.

Serve as the strategic quarterback for your campaign portfolio. Orchestrate cross-functional teams across product marketing, content, creative, digital, field marketing, and sales to build and deliver high-impact campaigns that resonate with your target audience.

Establish and maintain rigorous campaign processes, timelines, and governance frameworks that ensure flawless execution across multiple concurrent initiatives while continuously identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.

Develop comprehensive campaign strategies that span the full funnel, from awareness through conversion, leveraging multiple channels including digital advertising, email, webinars, virtual and live events, content syndication, and sales enablement plays.

Work closely with regional teams to ensure campaigns are adapted for local relevance while maintaining global consistency and brand alignment.

Translate market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer behavior into compelling campaign narratives and journeys.

Collaborate with content and product marketing to plan audience-specific content roadmaps and campaign assets (research reports, guides, webinars, customer stories, demos, etc) that move prospects through the funnel

Continuously monitor campaign results across key metrics including MQL generation, pipeline contribution, target account penetration, and ROI. Identify optimization opportunities and share learnings across the organization to drive continuous improvement.

Champion innovation in go-to-market strategy by testing new approaches, staying ahead of market trends, audience behaviors, and emerging channels, and leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance campaign effectiveness and drive competitive differentiation

As needed, partner with RevOps/IT to optimize marketing automation and performance dashboards

What skills do I need? Essential:

10+ years of B2B marketing experience with demonstrated expertise in integrated campaigns, demand generation, content marketing, and/or account-based marketing

Proven track record developing, executing, and scaling global, omni-channel campaigns that drive significant pipeline and revenue growth

Demonstrated command of B2B pipeline metrics, marketing attribution, ROI, and executive-level performance reporting

Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information to drive clarity. Comfortable using campaign data to prioritize, make trade-offs, and identify actionable optimizations

Exceptional project management capabilities with demonstrated ability to orchestrate complex, global initiatives across multiple stakeholders and time zones

Strong communication and presentation skills, particularly when engaging stakeholders and presenting campaign strategies and performance

Experience partnering effectively with sales teams to build pipeline and support revenue goals

Adept at using Marketo, Salesforce, and Tableau; skilled at workflow process design and change management

Experience at high-growth technology companies with dynamic, fast-paced environments

Curiosity, resilience, and a growth mindset. Proven ability to thrive in ambiguity and change

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field required

Preferred:

MBA or equivalent experience

Background in B2B SaaS/technology product marketing or similar roles

Experience developing campaign playbooks and frameworks that enable regional teams to localize and execute with autonomy

Familiarity with AI tools and their application to marketing workflows for research, content development, campaign optimization, and performance analysis

A genuine interest in how AI is transforming customer service and a drive to be part of that transformation

The base salary range for candidates within the San Francisco Bay Area is $175,500 - $220,375. Actual base pay will depend on a variety of factors such as education, skills, experience, location, etc. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All regular employees may also be eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
