Overview
Title: Corporate Transactions Associate (mid-level)
Location: Silicon Valley – hybrid (office on the Peninsula / Menlo Park area)
Base Salary: Around $230K (DOE) + bonus
This is a specialist corporate boutique in the heart of the Silicon Valley venture ecosystem, looking to add a mid-level corporate / transactional associate to their growing team.
This is ideal if you enjoy sophisticated deal work with founder- and investor-led clients, but want more autonomy, visibility, and a genuine path to partnership than you’d get in BigLaw.
The Firm (in a nutshell) Specialist corporate & securities boutique embedded in the startup / venture capital ecosystem
Represents a mix of:
High-growth private tech and life sciences companies
Founders and C-suite executives
Angel, seed, venture and secondary investment funds
Institutional and individual investors in primary and secondary transactions
Work spans the full company lifecycle: formation → financings → strategic transactions / exits → secondary sales and investor liquidity
Small partner-led teams, very hands-on exposure, and genuine client contact from day one
Role focus
Venture financings (seed through late-stage preferred rounds)
M&A (buy-side and sell-side for private companies and investors)
Secondary transactions (private company stock and fund interests)
General corporate & securities work (governance, cap tables, equity plans, investor rights, etc.)
You’ll run deals with partner support, manage day-to-day client communications, and be a key point of contact for founders, funds, and executives.
