Overview
An exciting opportunity is available for a qualified designer of cabinets and closets with a rapidly growing Port St Lucie business. The Designer must think like a sales person, who wants to grow the business and is relentless about providing excellent customer service. The opportunity also includes talking with builders who visit our updated showroom on site. The position has growth and earnings potential based on performance. (Salary plus commission.) It is based in our Port St Lucie office. Key Responsibilities
Client Consultation:
Meet with clients to understand their needs, project scope and timeline. This includers commercial & residential clients. (Cabinets, closets) Project Management:
Ruthlessly manage s timelines, budgets, and quality, ensuring designs meet production and installation standards. Material Selection:
Guide clients in choosing appropriate finishes, colors, hardware, and materials. Collaboration:
Work closely with sales, manufacturing, and installation teams for seamless project completion. Customer Service:
Maintain excellent client communication and provide post-installation support. Essential Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in 20/20 Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. Knowledge of cabinetry & closet construction, materials, and installation best practices. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Proficient in MS Office 365. Typical Work Environment
Combination of on-site client meetings and office-based design work. Fast-paced, client-focused. On going project management of multiple engagements.
