Embedded SaaS / white-labeled UI, data-heavy financial workflows, public website & brand surfaces About The Role Responsibilities
Own end-to-end product design across embedded accounting and bookkeeping experiences, from onboarding through day-to-day financial workflows. Design intuitive, trustworthy interfaces for SMB end users while ensuring flexibility to match the visual language of partner platforms. Create and evolve a cohesive design system across a growing product surface area without slowing shipping velocity. Partner directly with engineering and the CEO in a low-process, high-ownership environment. Translate ambiguous, finance-heavy problems into clear UX flows, interaction models, and polished, production-ready UI. Ship frequent improvements that increase usability, adoption, and customer confidence. Collaborate directly with platform customers to support onboarding, embedded UI implementation, and launch best practices. Own the public website and marketing visuals, contributing to brand evolution as the company scales. Operate as a hands-on IC owning the entire design function with meaningful autonomy and influence. Requirements 4–6+ years of experience as a Product Designer working on complex digital products. Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership, systems thinking, and high-quality visual craft. Experience designing data-heavy, high-trust workflows (FinTech, SaaS, infrastructure, or regulated products). Comfortable working closely with engineers and owning outcomes with minimal PM overhead. Experience in fast-paced startup or agency environments where speed and judgment matter. Deep fluency in modern design tools (Figma, components, auto-layout, variants). Strong product judgment, attention to detail, and ability to make decisions with incomplete information. Interest in building tools that help small businesses operate with clarity and confidence.
