Mets Baseball & Softball Camps Director (Smithtown - Long Island) Address Commack, NY, 11725, US Job Description NY Mets Baseball & Softball Camps is now hiring for a seasonal Summer Camp Site Director for our youth baseball and softball camps hosted throughout the New York Metropolitan Tristate Area. NY Mets Camps is looking for a Summer Camp Site Director who is energetic, positive, and who loves to inspire our youth to make good choices and be accountable for their actions and decisions—all while having a great time! We provide the equipment, training, and curriculum. You provide the leadership, direction, and enthusiasm to ensure campers have a wonderful learning experience and leave camp with a love of the game, new friends, better baseball/softball skills, and an appreciation for the importance of personal accountability. Site Directors are directly responsible for managing and motivating a team of 15+ staff members while executing NY Mets Camps Operations Standards during our camp weeks. Your role is to ensure a safe camp environment for the staff, campers, and parents, and encourage staff to bring a positive and enthusiastic mindset to each day of camp. Responsibilities

Manage and motivate a team of 15+ staff members during camp weeks. Ensure a safe camp environment for staff, campers, and parents. Lead camp-wide meetings to instill culture and expectations. Communicate with parents and company headquarters regarding issues that may arise at camp. Lead group sales, talent recruitment, operations & warehouse management, and training before the camp season starts. Perks & Highlights

Lead our camper reunion event at Citi Field with current/former Mets players. Join an incredible team of like-minded, passionate people. Qualifications

Make a nine-week commitment Monday-Friday for approximately nine hours per day. Be available from June 15-August 21, 2026 to be in person at each camp site, with option to start sooner in a remote capacity. Be a polished professional with demonstrated leadership ability having extensive management experience. Be able to pass a comprehensive background and reference check process. Be prepared to travel to all of our sites in Long Island and Brooklyn or Connecticut with reliable transportation. At a minimum, you must be familiar with the basic fundamentals of baseball. Have at least one year experience managing a group of people. Have experience and comfort with technology to ensure efficient camp operations. Be able to attend all-staff training. Camp Locations

Pay is based on skill level and experience. The weekly range for this position is $1,300 to $1,600 per week.
