Minimum qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or management consulting, in the consumer electronics, auto, OEMs, telecom, e-commerce/retail, apps, ads, gaming, or technology industries.

Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.

Preferred qualifications

Master's degree or other advanced degree.

Experience in immersive/spatial computing content.

Experience and established, recognized executive relationships in XR content industry.

Deep understanding of technology led businesses, including premium content monetization.

Ability to think across all aspects of structuring and executing on a business agreement, with a strategic, data-driven mindset.

Ability to unlock new opportunities and drive from concept to execution.

About The Job As a Strategic Partnerships Development Principal Lead, you will drive development, execution, and scaling of immersive content partnership programs for the Android XR platform. You\'ll be responsible for building and managing partnerships with XR developers to help define the future of content experiences across immersive form factors. You will partner closely with teams across Platforms & Devices, including Android and Google Play, as well as other partnerships organizations across Google. You will utilize deep domain knowledge of the XR space and strong relationships with influential industry stakeholders to influence internally and externally. You\'ll bridge short-term goals with longer-term strategy with limited direction, while working cooperatively across adjacent areas of Google.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google\’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$249,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Develop and manage bespoke partnerships with XR developers and rights holders to drive content acquisition, product integrations, and innovative immersive experiences across XR Headset and Glasses form factors.

Define, negotiate, and close complex distribution and application agreements with developers, technology partners, and rights holders to support platform growth.

Build frameworks for incubating new immersive content experiences and define replicable formats by assessing ROI and iterating with partners to meet long-term platform goals.

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define new business models, explore emerging business generation streams, and identify intersections between XR and AI opportunities.

Act as a strategic advisor to internal teams to land innovative content experiences and scale partnership strategies globally.
