Management Responsibilities
This position does not currently have any direct reports. Position Summary
This person will shoot high-quality products and lifestyle photography of live plants, both in studio and on location as part of our in-house Creative Services team. They will deliver strong storytelling images through creative composition and thoughtful lighting. The optimal candidate will be optimistic and respectful as well as flexible, adaptable and resilient. Key Responsibilities
Set up lighting equipment, including strobes, and shoot high-quality product shots in a studio setting. Capture catalog-quality lifestyle shots on outdoor sets Work directly with Photography Manager on set, light and shoot lifestyle images. Name and organize files according to set standards Help maintain clean studio/workstations daily Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications
2 + years’ experience shooting studio product photography Experience in studio lighting (strobes) & shaping natural light Demonstrated ability to consistently capture unique and creative compositions that stand out and tell a visual story Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop Proof of insurance in case of injury is required Must own camera, lenses, tripod and camera batteries Mid-level experience editing photos with a general knowledge of color correction Independently manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities Product/prop styling experience Ability to work in a team environment Preferred Qualifications
Capture One Product/prop styling experience Gardening Experience Job Setting & Physical Demands
This position is primarily an indoor office environment for administrative duties, which may require the use of computers and standard office equipment. Fluency to read, write, and understand the English language is required. Must be able to work in all outdoor elements, including dust and allergens on occasion. Position requires long-term ability for standing, sitting, squatting, bending, reaching, and twisting on a regular basis to fulfill essential duties. Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds which would include equipment, plants, and props to set locations unassisted. Disclaimer
