Overview
The Marketing Coordinator will assist in all general aspects of the Hult Center marketing department, supporting the creation, implementation, and measurement of a comprehensive performing arts venue and event marketing program that expands visibility, enhances public image, and increases sales and audience base. This position directly supports revenue generation and economic development for the community and City of Eugene. Ideal Candidate

Open to the public and City of Eugene full-time and part-time LD employees and Recreation Activity Employees (RAE). If you are a current City of Eugene RAE or LD employee, you will not have rights back to your position. This LD position could last up to 6 months per business need. The City offers robust benefits. About the Acting in Capacity Opportunity
Open to regular City of Eugene employees; at the end of the assignment you return to your regular position. This AIC position could last up to 6 months per business need. You must meet the minimum qualifications for the AIC position and obtain supervisor permission to apply. If on probation, supervisory approval for applying may be impacted. If you are in a union, you remain represented during the AIC position. Pay placement will be determined by the applicable collective bargaining agreement or Administrative Policies Manual and will be the minimum of your current pay up to the maximum of the AIC salary range. Responsibilities
Assist with marketing campaign tracking, monitor key deadlines and material needs, and manage settlement preparations; update and maintain marketing plans throughout campaigns including deadlines, deliverables, analytics, and expenses. Track and input Marketing Campaign Settlements in the event management system; enter all show expenses prior to day of performance and issue reminders to advertising partners on invoicing timelines. Coordinate education department outreach into marketing channels. Manage resource calendar for the marketing team, updating with announces, sales, marketing activations, and other items as needed. Collect and format assets for digital needs; maintain organized asset folders and ensure only approved assets are accessible (Adobe Photoshop knowledge may be required). Update and maintain digital screen slideshows and trailers; collaborate with a designer monthly to produce slides for upcoming events. Coordinate tracking and reporting across the marketing team for analytics databases including social, email, and web/ticketing. Track Marketing procurement card; submit card settlements with proper account codes weekly. Coordinate press outreach; organize bi-weekly calendar press releases; maintain press database; research and outreach to new press outlets and contacts; oversee calendar updates for external calendars. Oversee post-show surveys and associated actions for Hult Presents and Resident Company; coordinate surveys, build and send surveys, analyze results, and distribute recaps to stakeholders. Assist with event setup and staffing for marketing efforts at performances. Assist with grassroots research and outreach for marketing campaign strategy. Performs related duties as assigned. Qualifications
Four years of progressively responsible clerical or administrative support experience, including two years in marketing live events and entertainment. High school diploma or GED; associate degree or college coursework in the assigned area desirable. Must pass a background check. Must be proficient in Excel, Adobe Creative Suite (focus on Photoshop), Microsoft OneNote/Cloud, Word, and PDF creation. Knowledge of marketing practices, especially live-event marketing and sales. Ability to work productively in teams and interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff. Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills. Live event ticketing system experience; preference for Tessitura. Website CMS management; preference for WordPress. Additional Information
