Overview
Our large retail client is looking for a
photo editor
to join their team. In this role, you will be photographing products for their self-checkout platforms so that their items are searchable and recognized by the technology, which will include 360 images that use specialized equipment for that purpose. The photographer will also be responsible for providing photography for the company's eCommerce website, product catalog, and other marketing initiatives. Responsibilities
Photograph quality images of company products Utilize photography equipment such as computers, cameras, and studio lighting Perform photograph retouching and image adjustments post-production Maintain detailed records of daily production Adhere to project schedules, deadlines, and budgets Work with the product development team to translate product requirements into the final image Manage and update image archives Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of professional photo editing experience, specifically in product photography and large-scale photo shoots Knowledge of Canon digital photography systems, studio strobe lighting, Adobe Lightroom, and Adobe Photoshop Strong communication and timeline management skills Flexibility to work extended hours and/or an irregular schedule as needed All candidates must be Dallas-based and open to a hybrid schedule.
